The actress who played Harriet Tubman a black woman well known for her efforts to free slaves from the Southern U.S. & a champion to the that cause was outstanding. An entire episode was dedicated to a speech by Harriet Tubman. All I can is what a performance. Season two was better than season one. Underground is about slavery & is more graphic than the movie 12 Years A Slave. Of course there is the predicable violence between save owners & slaves but there is also some other unpredictable violence. I am sorry that they are not making season 3 of Underground.

Disappointing. The soap-opera-ish script just makes it all seem not-believable and just drags it down. This subject should have gotten better treatment.

Still on the road to freedom Season 2 is action-packed with great casting including Aisha Hinds as Harriet Tubman. Also love the mix of modern soundtrack with the past. This series delivers and hopefully will see a Season 3.

I'm very sad that this series is ending. It is not your typical slavery movie. All the characters very well written.
