While this is a work of fiction there have been similar events that are happening to Christians. This was actually a decent movie, it was less filled with cheesiness and poor acting, the clichés were limited too than the first one. There are forces in our culture today seeking to silence the Christians and this movie does a good job portraying the irrational hatred many have towards Biblical Christianity. I highly recommend "God's Not Dead 2," It's not a blockbuster, but tells a good story with a truism to it.

Good courtroom drama about what happens when a simple honest answer (which is simply providing information) gets blown all out of proportion. Of course this is a work of fiction; but as a teacher, I am aware of the climate in schools that could lead to something like this in reality. Convincing acting, and the storyline is not as heavy-handed as the first.

The follow-up to God's Not Dead, which was better crafted and over-all a better watch. This one was still good, I enjoyed the court "expert testimony" piece the best. Always good to be reminded on what we cannot take for granted, true freedom for all religions, not just those that are not typically North American.

And yet these things are debated in teachers minds every day. They think, should I share my faith and risk losing my job, or do I just do what I'm being paid to do.

A great movie that makes you think about how you would defend your faith. A very powerful movie.

Even better than "God's Not Dead!" Watch it and be encouraged that religious free speech does, in fact, still exist.

I liked it. I like Melissa Joan Hart's performance as a deer caught in the headlights, a very vulnerable and unsuspecting target of the wrath of the school board who opposes her freedom of speech. How the 'good guys' rally is a bit of an eye roller, but I think it's to be expected. You would be better off viewing God's Not Dead the first movie as you might actually hear some arguments and points that would make you think if you are openminded enough to have your worldview come under question.
