The first 10 minutes of this film is filled with interesting dialogues - though one may call them cliché. This 10-minutes is okay. Then, the story's development is very predictable and ended in a way that I found unpleasing. Until the last 3 minutes of the end of this film, I planned to give it 2-stars -- if not 1. But, the last 3 minutes of this film ended it a subtle, beautiful way.
Yes, it's filled with clichés, but "5 to 7" has enough melancholy & witty dialogue to make it a likable bitter-sweet-romantic tribute to a NYC love affair. See it.
