Beyond the Kingdoms, written by Chris Colfer is the fourth installment for his series, The Land of Stories. In this novel, the plot increases as well as the tension with the final battle coming closer. With humour, action, thrill and the nostalgic factor of some childhood favorites, this novel truly adds to the adventure of the infamous pair, Connor and Alex Bailey. As the twins and their friends truly come to an understanding of the enemy they are about to face off. Overall, I give this a 4.5 stars, as the author truly brings up a variety of emotions evoked by the changes and conflicts the main characters face within their journey. I recommend this series to anyone around the middle school age, as it introduces the perfect amount of humour, understanding and wonder.

I LOVE THIS BOOK SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH! It's just so sad when (SPOILER ALERT!) Alex meets Arthur and she gets separated. She could just recruit him for her army and let the OTHER versions complete the story!

Every book in this series was thrilling and exciting to read but this book was especially good. The ending left me wanting for more and throughout the novel there were many unexpected things that happened which left me completely mind blown. Cannot wait to read the fifth book!

This was a very good book, I loved the twists and turns. The fact that all my favourite stories other than fairy tales were included is amazing! I can't wait until the next book, I don't think I can wait until July! If you want my opinion I would read these over and over and over and over again! Thank you so much Chris!

Author Chris Colfer has created a wonderful series that just gets better with each title! Here the twins, Connor and Alex, must stop their Uncle Lloyd from creating an army made up of villainous storybook characters who will destroy the Land of Stories.

I understand now what the quote, 'The more you know the less you know.' means! I came away from this book more confused than before but still in awe of how totally amazing this book is! It answered so many questions that I had, but also created hundreds more. THIS WHOLE SERIES ROCKS!!! (SPOILER ALERT) I was so glad that Alex and Conner finally realized he wasn't their dad. I also can't believe that they instantly jumped to that conclusion when all the evidence was against them except for his face. Then again I probably would have believed anything if I was in their position. I can't believe the whole time I haven't liked Ezmia only to find out that she is actually a good guy and two minor bad guys that I barely bated an eyelid at made her evil. That is just cruel what they did to her. I feel bad. I was really confused at why she wanted to take over the world after heart break. I mean I know it would have hurt but I don't think many people would decide to destroy the world over it. I officially like Ezmia!!! Oh yeah another thing... THE MASKED MAN HAS A SON? CONNER AND ALEX HAVE A COUSIN? AND THEIR COUSIN IS ONE OF CONNERS BEST FRIENDS? WHAT? I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! Oh and one more thing you know how Conner said he is going back to get his stories? Well isn't his Grandma in his stories? What is he recruits his Grandma? Just a totally awesome thought. Well anyway. Its a great book you should read it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT AND I AM DYING FOR THE NEXT ONE!!!
