Since the original publication of the MOOSEWOOD COOKBOOK in 1977, author Mollie Katzen has been leading the revolution in American eating habits. MOOSEWOOD was listed by the New York Times as one of the top ten best-selling cookbooks of all time, and no wonder. With her sophisticated, easy-to-prepare vegetarian recipes, charming drawings, and hand lettering, Mollie introduced millions to a more healthful, natural way of cooking. This new edition--a companion volume to her latest TV series--preserves the major revisions and additions that Mollie made in 1992, accented with new recipes from Mollie's current repertoire and 16 pages of beautiful full-color food photography. You've seen MOOSEWOOD before, but you've never seen it quite like this!

Best Brocht (beet soup) recipe ever! Top with sour cream as the recipe calls for or use a good quality plain yogurt- just as good!

I plan on eating my way through this entire book, because everything (and I mean, absolutely everything!) is so delicious. Highly recommend for those that are just starting a vegetarian diet... and of course everyone else that eats food.

Amazing and easy vegetarian recipes that are perfect for midweek to fancier meals. The soups are varied and great for those cold fall and winter months. The cheesecake is amazing!

We've owned this for years, and while we've not plumbed the depths, trying each and every recipe, there has been a fair sampling.

Our favs are the potato-cauliflower pie, and the spinach-ricotta pie.

A good, solid cook book with many recipes that are week-night appropriate.
