I really hated this book but I think that's because I was expecting more of a story book due to the format. This is actually a teen graphic book that's been formatted to look like a picture book. Overall, I found the pictures awkward and the concept of the city like a fairy tale forest forced, and I'm not sure what they were trying to achieve by making it like a picture book - other than trying to make the story ironic perhaps.
