This book uses a lot of the author's own proprietary food items. The recipes often use hard-to-find ingredients (goji berries, for example). That said, a lot of the recipes look pretty simple, so if you are willing to track down and buy her own ingredients and the random ones, or if you are confident in your ability to adapt things, this book might be worth looking at.
