Darkness swept over Flametail and the sunlight vanished forever.

"Brackenfur slid under the dew-soaked ferns. He flicked his ears in annoyance as droplets of water fell on his head."
"I believe Ivypaw is loyal to The Place of No Stars. When the final battle comes, she will stand with us."-Tigerstar
"The warrior code never changes."
— Littlecloud to Flametail in Night Whispers, page 188
"You must burn as brightly as this fire to protect your Clan. Survival is more important than the code of the medicine cats. You must forget your allegiance to them and pledge yourself only to our Clan. From now on, ShadowClan has no allies. Remember this: A time of war is coming, and your warrior ancestors will stand alongside you. No one else."
— Raggedstar to Flametail in Night Whispers, page 86
Jayfeather and Lionblaze discover that Ivypaw is being trained by the Dark Forest. When Dovepaw tries to convince her not to, she initially refuses. In the end, Ivypaw begins to spy on the Dark Forest for the three. Flametail dies when he falls through the ice while playing "prey hole" with his Clanmates.
Now Cinderheart knows Lionblazes power, and Ivypaw knows Dovepaw's power. Also, Ivypaw finally realizes that the Dark Forest is wrong.
Also, I remember one cat dying, and that cat was from ShadowClan. I'm not telling you guys anything more!

Add a CommentJayfeather, Lionblaze and Dovepaw suspect that Ivypaw has been training in the Place of No Stars, where all dead cats who died with an evil heart stay in. When her secret is revealed, Ivypaw claims that Tigerstar only wants the cats to be trained into strong warriors. But little does she know that Tigerstar is slowly leading her loyalty astray from ThunderClan. Will Ivypaw stand strong to defend her clan mates or will she join the members of the Place of No Stars and be with them at the final battle? Meanwhile, Jayfeather, Lionblaze and Dovepaw worry that once the prophecy is fulfilled, it'll be too late to do anything. Is all hope already lost? Ivypaw pretty convinced that Tigerstar is not at all evil. Where do her loyalties lie?
That's the problem with trust and faith... sometimes betrayal is a pretty jagged blade. It cuts right to the core and it hurts to pull it out. This third book, of the fourth set, nicely depicts the struggles of being caught up in a web of lies of deception. Certain lies may seem true if they are mixed in with the right amounts of emotions, such as pride, envy, or fear. Can the two sisters (Dovepaw and Ivypaw) join together in this dark, dark time to face danger together? Or will the ghosts of their pasts continue manipulation until there is no turning back?

I like how Ivypaw decided to spy on Tigerstar and Hawkfrost instead of helping them
Great, great book! It's too bad about the deaths. And poor Lionblaze! Cinderheart leaving him just because he has a destiny. Boo! But really awesome. And the stuff with Tigerheart and Dovepaw and Ivypaw? Yikes.
