"Pete Dizinoff really didn't think the woman his son was getting involved with was suitable, so he decided to do something about it. Grodstein's masterful prose renders Pete's voice as he looks back on events, after everything has gone to hell."
Top Ten of 2010: Ron Hogan, reviewer
This book took longer than average to get into.
Has a parential view that I don't understand, and hope to never. While I kid my children about being a "helicopter parent", this is it to an extreme.
Reads like "talk about Kevin"
A chilling novel of parental tunnel vision and offspring entitlement and disarray.
