Mark Haddon is of course awesome. But reader Julian Rhind-Tutt is absolutely fabulous here.

Mark Haddon is one of my new favorites. This is a story I wasn't particularly interested in, but his writing is so good I stuck with it. It's sort of a zombie kind of story where the main characters are very believable, but you have to suspend belief to go along with the story to the end. His other books particularly the one about the Red House are remarkable and worth reading.
