Beck - and those who love this book - should read all about Thomas Paine and specifically Paine's writings. Paine's beliefs and philosophy were the exact OPPOSITE of what Beck believes and preaches. As outlined in his Age of Reason and Rights of Man (etcetera), Paine was the ultimate progressive liberal. In addition, Paine - recognized as one of THE Founding Fathers - was not only a Deist (as were many Founding Fathers), but specifically a very anti Christian type of Deist. This book is a very, very, very bad joke (at best). Please read Zaitchik's "Common Nonsense" for a reality based view of Beck!

Thomas Paine's ghost plans to sue Glenn Beck for disparaging his name, as he should.
