Matthew Perry, post-F.R.I.E.N.D.S. success, stars in this TV movie about Ron Clark, a fantastic educator who has done amazing things for youth and students. This film has that typical layer of television flick cheesiness, but it's still highly watchable. I enjoyed it. It's a lazy watch, but maintains a certain sense of quality. I would recommend it to anyone who loves films like FREEDOM WRITERS or MUSIC OF THE HEART or STAND AND DELIVER or TO SIR, WITH LOVE or LEAN ON ME -- anything like that where they stick a star in an inspirational teacher role.
