I really wanted to enjoy this book. I've always been interested in Shakespeare & the age old debate of who actually wrote the famous words. The stories & information on the various historical figures is impressive & the author obviously knows her stuff. But ultimately, I found one of the protagonists just too annoying to "listen" to, a valley girl that intruded on and detracted from the parts of the novel I did enjoy & couldn't be bothered to finish it, a rarity for me.
