There are lots of great patterns and variations to build lots of great socks. Unfortunately the instructions are often confusing are overly long. There is too much cross-referencing and the patterns could read much more simply.

Disappointing book- the layout of the instructions is confusing and took too long to work out.
But the photos were nice.

Lots of excellent sock patterns in a good range of sizes.
The recommended needle sizes are often too large and the quality of the knitting in the photos is not always up to snuff.
A great book for beginner sock knitters.
