Interesting and very dark. Unexpected in many aspects, but in good ways. I own this one, but not the sequel, Sacred Scars, which is a lovely and bitter continuation on this beautifully composed dark fiction.

This book is good. I think two different stories come together well.

Could have been an interesting premise, but there are severe issues with pacing and the constant switch between 1st and 3rd person narrative is jarring and not at all effective.

Excellent plot-needs to let people know right up front it is the 1st book in a trilogy.
