Good read for Austen fans. Nice to read a story in her voice, covering the experiences of her life (real or contrived). It was interesting to see how such experiences may have shaped her stories into the forever classics that are so loved and acclaimed.

It was slow in parts, but brought out a lot of emotion that Jane Austen may have felt during a time when women were mostly expected to marry and settle down rather than make a mark for themselves in history. Overall it was an insightful book.
