When his car breaks down, he reluctantly relies on Jay to get him there. Liberty spends most of the summer melancholy and moping about. Her family is concerned that she may be going through post-adoption postpartum depression. They even suspect she may be planning to run away to Seattle to see the baby. However, we eventually discover that on top of coming to grips with the adoption, shes also still carrying a torch for J.T.
