Susan Elizabeth Phillips is one of the very best modern romance writers. I loved Natural Born Charmer, dumb title, wonderful smart ass heroine, with: fabulous snappy dialogue, an old Tennessee farm, rock n roll legend, football hero, cranky-nasty town owner trying to sell it, house renovation, a teen whose mother died recently, an estranged relative, and more. It was full of personality and character and humor, like the best rom com movie you've ever watched but five times as long, yay! because, book. Highly recommended.

What great characters! What great dialogue! Had me laughing from the first moment the headless beaver (what?) made her entrance.

Up there with other great S.E. Phillips' books ("Call Me Irresistible", "This Heart of Mine" and "Match Me If You Can"). Lots of fun! It's great to have other fun interlocking stories permeating the main one! Highly recommended if you like romantic and funny novels.

cute, fun loving, humorous, what more could you ask for? it even pulled out some deep emotions in parts of the book. Loved the interlocking plots of each very different character ranging from all age groups. a great example of the perfect romcom, in my opinion.

A little uneven, but overall a funny story that maintains a nice pace and casts a worthwhile group of characters. (Bottom line: I laughed. What more do you want from a light romcom?)

When star quarterback Dean Robillard meets artist Blue Bailey she is wearing a beaver suit at the side of the road and an unusual romance begins. They both have complications in their lives. Dean has family problems, a mother he despises, a father he has no contact with, and an eleven-year-old sister looking for a home. Blue has financial worries and family problems of her own. The two immediately butt heads and try to ignore their growing attraction - but the time they spend at Dean's new farmhouse in east Tennessee changes both their lives and the lives many other around them.
