You have never read a book like this before -- a book that comes along once in a lifetime to change lives forever.

In the rain forests of Peru, an ancient manuscript has been discovered. Within its pages are 9 key insights into life itself -- insights each human being is predicted to grasp sequentially; one insight, then another, as we move toward a completely spiritual culture on Earth. Drawing on ancient wisdom, it tells you how to make connections among the events happening in your life right now and lets you see what is going to happen to you in the years to come. The story it tells is a gripping one of adventure and discovery, but it is also a guidebook that has the power to crystallize your perceptions of why you are where you are in life and to direct your steps with a new energy and optimisim as you head into tomorrow.

Synchronicity is real, this story is allegorical fiction; even the author says that. I think it makes valid allusions to real world phenomenon. Love is the answer, and wisdom shows us the way.

This is a book of woo and garbage. It is selling pop enlightenment, and I'm not buying. I love the novel Ishmael by Daniel Quinn and people who love The Celestine Prophecy seem to think that Ishmael and the Celestine Prophecy are making the same point. They aren't. The Celestine Prophecy is trite warmed over Oprah bait for people who want to feel spiritual but don't like religion. There is nothing valid here, and much that is actively deceitful. Avoid this book.

I barely made it through the first chapter before giving up. I don't enjoy these books that mix reality with fiction. As soon as the woman had her briefcase stolen by a mysterious man I began to have doubts. When the man boards a plane for Peru with no idea of where is going or what he is looking then miraculously someone else on the plane asks him if he is also looking for the manuscript I had had enough.

Although, this fiction book is written about someone else's life, it [book] keeps us thinking, comparing, and learning about our own lives.

This book reveals nine insights that will definitely be useful in our everyday life. Also, the way the insights are exposed throughout the book was a very intelligent technique that Redfield used to capture us [the audience].

This book is the one of the greatest books I highly recommend.

Set as a first person action adventure to provide a new way of thinking ... all things are interconnected -- think positive thoughts and positive things will happen, no such things as coincidences ..

Good read.

This really makes you think about how you treat others, how you treat the planet and how making changes can possibly make your life richer and more meaningful.
